Full Time position available for a mature, responsible person to run front desk in busy grooming/boarding/day care, non-smoking, facility.
Having dog breed and temperament knowledge is required. Having experience in a grooming, boarding or day care facility a plus.
Must not be allergic to dogs or cats as it will be hands on with the animals in our care and you will be asked to assist the groomers at times.
Must have a pleasant outgoing personality to greet clients. Having front office, customer service experience a plus.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, answering the phone, scheduling grooming, boarding and day care appointments, making up files and keeping the filing system in order, greeting clients, cashiering, making deposits, cleaning, helping with boarding, day care and grooming dogs and cats and of course poop scooping.
This is a no stress, no drama environment for the pets and the workers. Having a positive attitude and a desire to stay busy and work hard is necessary. You must be able to lift 50 pounds and are in good health.
