We are seeking a Mainframe Technician for a 12 month+ contract in Tucson, AZ. In this role you will be responsible for the following:
Read and understand work activity cut sheets and service orders.
must possess a working knowledge of the cable color code and be able to readily identify assigned network components. T
Correctly read the Main Distribution Frames (MDF) to ensure copper, jumpers have been run, rearranged or removed correctly for single line, xDSL and jumpers at the MDF for special circuit/design services.
Accomplish cable and jumper cross-connects.
Qualifications
Must possess a working knowledge of the cable color code and be able to readily identify assigned network components.
Must be able to correctly read the Main Distribution Frames (MDF) to ensure copper, jumpers have been run, rearranged or removed correctly for single line, xDSL and jumpers at the MDF for special circuit/design services.
Demonstrate the physical dexterity required to accomplish cable and jumper cross-connects.
Additional Information
This 12 month+ contract role will be located in Tucson, AZ. There may be some remote work in the beginning due to shelter in place initiatives, but once safe to do so, this role will be located onsite in the Tucson area.
