Job Description
Vida At Home is seeking excellent caregiver’s willing to learn and assist seniors within their homes. Vida At Home provides non-medical assistive care to individuals that need help within their home. Caregivers receive direct communication and training on the client's needs they are going to care for. Our goal is to provide excellent care with kindness and purpose.
Duties Include:
Conversation/ Companionship- Being a Friend
Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
Assistance with grooming and bathing
Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
Appointment and Medication Reminders
No previous experience necessary- skill training provided by Vida At Home
Requirements:
Excellent Listeners, Learners, and that enjoy Laughing
Treat individuals with honor and dignity and show respect for their property
Able to speak, read, and write English clearly (2nd languages a plus)
At least 21 years of age
High School Diploma or a GED
Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
Able to lift 25 lbs.
CPR/First Aid certification
Current and Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
Vehicle in good condition with working air conditioning
