The Salvation Army of Tucson is hiring for a Seasonal Holiday Driver.
LOCATION: The Salvation Army Hospitality House 1002 N. Main Ave. Tucson, AZ 85705
PAY: $12.50 an hour
STATUS: Seasonal Temporary 40 hours, Employment Available until 12/31/2019
HOURS: Monday Friday 9:00am-5:30pm, occasional Saturday

QUALIFICATIONS
High School Graduate/GED preferred
Minimum Age 18 to Operate TSA Vehicles/Box Truck with hydraulic lift (Similar to 1bdr U-Haul)
Ability to lift 50lbs on regular basis
Possess good interpersonal and communication skills, displaying positive attitude
Maintain effective relationships with donors, participants, and vendors
Successful completion of Salvation Army Fleet Safety Driving Test
Successful Background Clearance
Valid Arizona Drivers License with good driving record
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pick up and deliver various donated holiday items, including toys, food drive items, etc.
Load and unload boxes of toys, turkeys, all types seasonal donated items
Deliver Christmas Angel Tags to businesses participating in toy collections
Assist with set up of toy collection boxes in the Malls
Set up Christmas trees at participating locations, keeping angel tags stocked
Assist with delivery of all items needed for Distribution Toy Warehouse
At end of the holiday season, assist with breakdown of warehouse, malls, etc.
Follow safety procedures loading, unloading items
Sweep and clean vehicle after each use, wiping up food spills and remove any trash, take to car wash as necessary
Track mileage using vehicle mileage log in all vehicles driven, turn in monthly or when full
Follow all local traffic regulations
Report any mechanical problems immediately to supervisor
Other duties as it relates to the position of Driver

Must have the ability to operate telephone, a desktop or laptop computer, as well as the ability to access and produce information from a computer, and to understand written information.
