Social Media Manager for Skincare Brand (Tucson)

We are a marketing company that owns several brands, and one of our Skincare brands is now being carried by Urban Outfitters.

We need a ambitious and experienced social media manager who is interested in skincare and has a good eye for aesthetics to help us take the brand to the next level and garner more attention on social media. We are looking for a creative individual who can help direct our photographers and graphic designers to execute a vision. You will work directly with the CEO to help determine the creative direction of the brand. In the future, this job has the potential to branch into managing other social media pages, or could entail taking on a larger role as an art director.

We will need your help with:

- planning and synchronizing content creation across all our platforms

- assisting with the visual direction of the brand by providing inspiration and brainstorming concepts

- posting to Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest

- posting to other social media sites as we identify the need

- assisting the CEO with managing creative direction

- assist the CEO and photographers with photoshoots locally

Requirements:

- must have excellent written communication skills, grammar, spelling and punctuation

- must have experience managing at least one Instagram page with over 2000 followers. Please provide an example of your work, whether business or personal. If your personal Instagram page is highly successful we would love to hear about your strategy and experience.

- must be an outgoing people person, this job will require you to reach out and engage with strangers on social media

- must be in Tucson and able to meet up once per week. The rest of the work can be done from home. We will occasionally meet on the weekend for a photoshoot, which we will try to schedule so that everyone can make it.

- photography skills are not required, as images will be provided based on the ideas we come up with. If you are a professional with a portfolio we would love to see it, since we will have a need for more professional photography.

Job Details:

We will complete a 2-week trial phase during which we will discuss ideas and put you in charge of posting to Instagram and Facebook. During the trial phase the pay will be $11 per hour. At the end of the 2 week period we will review the success of the project and if we hire you we will discuss your pay based on experience and skillset.

This job will require about 10 hours per week including time spent posting and engaging on social media. Depending on skillset, we can discuss additional hours/responsibilities after the 2 week trial phase.
