We are looking for high energy, motivated people to join our team and call Poly Print home. We are currently looking to fill a variety of Manufacturing roles for our production facility in Tucson. These are entry level roles with plenty of growth potential. The duties are listed below. We run 3 shifts, and schedule flexibility is important. There is an in-house 90-day training period.

Requirements for all positions:

Must be able to pass a 10 panel drug screen as all our positions are safety sensitive.

Can follow instruction and is attentive to details

Must obey all personnel, product and food safety regulations and all company policies and procedures

Must adhere to all quality processes, including documentation and verification as they apply to the performance of your tasks

Maintain the efficiency and accuracy of production processes and equipment

Learn and operate production equipment based on training and management approval.

Work with management and production team to attain team and company goals.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Knowledge of production processes, quality control, raw materials and other techniques for maximizing the effective lamination of film

Previous manufacturing experience

Printing experience

General Duties may include:

Handle film materials and lift heavy objects and/or material or machinery.

Read work orders to determine usage of correct ink, film and any adherence to special notes for the specific job.

Review work order to determine final unwind, finished roll width and diameter.

Mount plates to cylinders

Evaluate layout proofs, color keys, PDF files and prints and color target proofs.

Dismantle and reassemble units or parts to clean, repair, maintain or adjust the machines.

Load, position and adjust unprinted films on unwind and rewind shafts.

Inspecting and examining printed products for print clarity, color accuracy, conformance to specification and external defects.

Inspects and examines laminated products for clarity, bond strength, curl and external defects.

Load pallets with finished goods for shipping.

Learn and operate production equipment based on training and management approval.

Physical Requirements for all positions:

Able to lift between 50 to 75 lbs. minimum

Must be able to walk, squat, crouch, turn, twist, stretch, climb steps, grab, pull, push and bend throughout an 8 to 12-hour shift

All our job positions are safety sensitive positions which means that you must pass a 10 panel drug pre-hire test.

This position may include tasks or duties that Poly Print in good faith believes could affect the safety or health of the employee performing the task or others, including, but not limited to the following:

Operating a motor vehicle, other vehicle, equipment, machinery, or power tools

Repairing, maintaining or monitoring the performance or operation of any equipment, machinery, or manufacturing process.
