Procurement/Warehouse Position
We are an established company (30+ years in the same location!) looking to hire an experienced/motivated worker to facilitate a company warehouse. We are growing and need someone who can work in a fast paced environment. Employee will be handling objects that range between 15 and 50 pounds from the floor or a pallet. Employee will also be required to lift up to 100 pounds with other employees and move them to an appropriate spot. Objects range from small boxes to large televisions. Employee will have to bend, crouch and squat often to pick up and transport objects.
This position will:
Place and receive order for company jobs.
Label, count, and sort objects such as televisions, receivers, speakers, monitors, and more objects by specific customers or jobs.
Match receipts with orders and log them, as well as take inventory at least once a month.
Create purchase orders and estimates through QuickBooks, as well as receive all inventory.
Communicate on statuses of packages and availability.
Take ownership of the warehouse, ensuring that all items are purchased for the best prices, logged in/out, and tracked from the beginning of the process to the end.
Return/ship necessary items in a timely manner and ensure credit is received correctly.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
Follow company policies and procedures to ensure efficiency.
Contact vendors and/or customers, as necessary.
Pack or unpack items in and out of boxes. Tear down and recycle boxes in addition to taking out garbage. Seal and deliver any outgoing packages.
Additional duties as assigned.

Proficiency in QuickBooks is not mandatory, but is beneficial
Procurement experience is not mandatory, but is preferred
