Signmasters provides clients with design, manufacturing, installation and maintenance of signs and has been since 1981. We pride ourselves on quality products to maximize the lifetime of signs in the brutal, southern Arizona weather. With decades of experience, we look to educate and provide our customers with the best product we can.
SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
Signmasters is extremely fast-paced. We respect and look for hard-working, driven, customer-centered, and productive individuals. We are looking for a sign fabricator who can help in the fabrication of signs. You MUST have a drivers license. You must be a team player. You must be self-motivated. You must be willing to learn and work at a fast and efficient pace. You must be organized and work well under pressure. We would prefer experience in the following things: metal working and fabrication, welding, electrical, and/or mechanical skills. We would be willing to train based on finding the right person. Pay will be determined based on experience.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS
Must have a current drivers license with a good driving record
Must be able to work in the heat
Must be organized and self-motivated.
Must be able to work as a part of a team, completing all tasks as assigned
Must have basic common sense skills used in fabrication; such as reading tape measure and using hand tools.
Requires frequent lifting, standing, balancing, bending or stooping for prolonged periods of time
Excellent attention to detail
As a small business every employee is required to pitch-in with other duties outside their defined job scope in support of the company
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Heavy walking, standing, climbing, heavy lifting, carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching. Majority of the work will in a shop environment or outside, around moving objects, and machinery with moving parts.
