Position: Android Developer (SO# 43900029)
Location: Bentonville, AR
Duration: Long Term
Contract C2C
Client is looking for an android developer who will work with a team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications. The core focus for the position will be on implementing software for mobile platform with an emphasis on UI/front end development. Android programming works closely with other app development and technical teams.
7+ years of software development of which 3 or more years of native mobile development experience((conceptualization, design, development and debugging)
Expertise Android Studio, Java and Kotlin
experience with unit-testing, code for robustness, security, usability and improving performance of the overall application
Experience with data exchange (JSON, XML), MySQL, PostgreSQL, Realm, Core Data, SQLite, MongoDB, etc
familiar with building mobile accessibility components to improve application usability
have a proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Strong command in Computer Science concepts
Experience in integrating Third Party libraries and SDKs
passionate about well-designed products and not afraid to sit with our Design Team to prototype, wireframe, and white board your idea
Strong problem-solving abilities
Expertise in working with distributed team across the geos in an agile fashion
Experience in Agile methodologies and developing working prototypes.
