Behavioral Health Programs is seeking a licensed LPN for our substance abuse facility in beautiful Eureka Springs, AR! Experience in substance abuse in not required, as training is provided.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Valid LPN license
-Arkansas state or Multi-state nursing license
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Monitors detox and residential clients
-Medication administration
-Processes necessary documentation for new clients admitting to the facility
-Communicates client needs and status to the physician as needed
-Motivates residents to participate in the primary or structured phase of treatment
-Acts as a resident advocate (as needed) and keeps the therapeutic team informed of any problems that arise
-Demonstrates an understanding of emergency procedures, first aid, fire drills, internal and external disasters
-Helps update the detox and restriction board per shift & as needed throughout the day/night
-Maintains and strives for positive, professional relationships with the staff, physicians, clients, and visitors
