James+James is working to hire a carpenter/delivery team lead for our wood shops in Springdale. This position would spend most of their time building furniture at our shops in Springdale, but would also lead delivery trips across the country every few weeks. We love that our carpenters take their work straight into our customers homes from Chicago to Houston to New York to Atlanta and everywhere in between.
Responsibilities:
Building solid hardwood furniture from board to completion
Maintaining a clean work environment and exceeding quality standards
Meeting time quotas per piece (with the ability to earn cash bonuses bi-weekly as you exceed them)
Drive a large pickup truck pulling an enclosed gooseneck trailer safely
Interact professionally with customers, stay on schedule
Deliver furniture into customers home
Ideal Candidate:
Takes pride in their work and has strong integrity
Has a clean driving record, can pass new hire and random drug testing
Understands the importance of workplace safety
Has the ability to lift large items safely
Can take and apply feedback and direction
Is enjoyable to work with and has a positive outlook when faced with challenges.
Experience is not required, we love training eager candidates.
