CNC LATHE or MILL MACHINIST(S)-Setup Capable
Clark Industries, Inc. (est 1967) is seeking a skilled Machinists capable of operating a CNC Lathe or a CNC Mill. Machinists should be able to setup and must have experience with Live Tooling.
ï§ Must have a good work ethic, and project a "can do" attitude, and affect a positive change in the company.
ï§ Have the ability to initiate tasks without management intervention.
ï§ Requires hands-on and technical knowledge in operating CNC Mills &/or CNC Lathes.
Candidate Requirements:
ï§ MUST have a minimum 3-5 years CNC machining experience within a production and/or job shop environment.
MUST be able to set up machines with little to no supervision
Having your own measuring tools a plus. (Not a requirement, but must be purchased when needed).
ï§ Must have good math skills; High School diploma or GED completion.
ï§ Good communication skills are a must have.
ï§ All candidates will be subject to a pre-employment drug screen.
Job Requirements:
ï§ Proficient in the use of CNC Lathes or CNC Mills. Fabrication experience a plus.
o Able to Load CNC Programs on Machines.
o Monitor feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
o Inspect and validate Machined Parts and make adjustments when required.
o Ability to hold tight machine tolerances in a production environment.
o Thorough knowledge in tool management, setup and offset tooling.
o Have knowledge of jigs, fixtures, dies, and jaws.
o Ability to maximize machine operating capacity efficiently and effectively.
ï§ Proficient in reading blueprints and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances.
o Capable of determining tooling requirements from these drawings.
o Able to work with design and engineering to improve production and reduce overall costs.
ï§ Proficient understanding and usage of measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.)
o Must be comfortable with in-process inspection procedures.
o Be detail oriented and able to visually check parts for defects to insure high tolerance to quality.
o Participate in troubleshooting and solving production related problems.
o Able to make adjustment to machine and tooling as required.
o Record any improvements and changes in Job Log for future needs.
