Tyson Foods Maintenance Technician FULL-TIME $22/hr 2615 S School Ave, Fayetteville, AR 72701 Starting hourly pay is $18.13 - $25.90/hour depending on experience. The Maintenance Technician performs a variety of maintenance activities including corrective maintenance (CM), preventative maintenance (PM), and predictive maintenance (PdM) for various computer/PLC controlled production equipment. Must be able to safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment and the ability to effectively interact with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals. Assist in training of other plant personnel. Utilize the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to assist in the development and the execution and follow-up on maintenance activities including but not limited to inspections, calibrations, repairs and rebuilds. Safely perform work, including adherence to policies such as lock-out-tag-out (LOTO), hot work permit and confined space entry.Schedule - Shift start: 6:00AM or 6:00PM - Shift length: 12 hours - Days: Either Sunday - Thursday with alternating Wednesdays or Thursday - Sunday with alternating Wednesdays.Benefits - Health, dental, vision insurance available after 90 days - Paid time off - 401kRequirements - Basic knowledge and experience maintaining and repairing computer/plc controlled production equipment preferred - Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills relating to gear reducers, chain/belt drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, heat exchangers, pumps, piping systems, and vacuum pumps preferred - Ability to use schematics and blueprints during routine troubleshooting and proficient in the use of hand tools - Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment - Knowledge of Allen-Bradley ControlLogix 5000 and PanelView Plus system training preferred - Basic understanding of industrial electrical/electronic systems including VFDs (variable frequency drives), motor controls, 3 phase AC power, Analog/Digital Electronics - CMMS experience is preferred - Basic understanding of OSHA regulations - The ability to complete basic mathematical calculations - Demonstrated comprehension and troubleshooting skills relating to motor control systems, servo motors, pumping systems, 3 phase industrial electrical systems and mechanical systems - Must be at least 18+ years old - Must pass drug screen - Can lift 50 lbsAbout Tyson Foods Tyson Foods is one of the world's largest food companies and a recognized leader in protein.
