You will investigate problems with software applications, diagnose root causes, and work on fixing them. The job responsibilities entail the development, integration, and configuration of business applications (mainly Yardi) used across the organization and ensuring that all applications comply with relevant standards and regulations.Daily responsibilitiesInteracts with clients, vendors and other stakeholders internal and external, and acting as a liaison between business and technology areas. Provides end-user support for specific software applications. Record and analyze functional incidents, as well as come up with and/or advise on solutions.Analyzes business and user needs. Documents business rules/functional requirements to support system enhancements with minimal guidance. Contributes to complex implementation of systems application enhancements and tests end-user processes. Able to manage implementation of small to medium complex changes.Works on applications problems of complex scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors using Yardi, MRI, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics, other Portfolio Management Systems, Investor Portals & Business Intelligence Tools. Creates/delivers correspondence, presentations, and other materials for end user training.Draws up and enhances security guidelines related to the new business applications and the setup of user access control. Guides the periodic auditing processes in conjunction with external auditors and senior business users.Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or related field and 7+ years of experience.Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations.
