Field Engineer Associate Location:- Little Rock, Arkansas Duration:- Contract

Their proven portfolio of smart networks, software, services, meters, and sensors helps our customers better manage energy and water for the people they serve.
NOTE:- This role will be required to travel locally within the customer region as much as 50% of the time. Possibility to travel out of state to other customer locations as much as 25% of the time. Training will be located in Houston, TX. After training, the service area will be South Arkansas, North Louisiana, and parts of Texas
Requirements for Field Engineer Associate
Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Science, military training, or equivalent work experience
Minimum 2 years work experience in a related wireless or networking field
Strong background and experience with RF and wireless technologies. Demonstrated the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot various electronic and RF systems
Must possess a valid driving license and clean DMV
A strong understanding of RF and propagation theory as well as experience with RF test equipment and tools such as spectrum analyzers, power meters, sweep testers
Understanding of TCP/IP and routing concepts
Strong PC skills with software such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Experience and knowledge of gas, water, and electric utility meters and related technologies
Experience with GIS mapping software such as MapInfo
