Role Summary:The Lead Production Engineer will be a Materials Engineer for composite materials and processing technologies used in the design and manufacturer of wind turbine blades. Essential Responsibilities:As the Lead Production Engineer, you will:

Support cross-functional teams to deliver qualified Wind Turbine components that meet engineering requirements, cost targets and production fulfillment schedules

Review supplier documentation, perform audits, and evaluate test results against GE requirements

Lead or coordinate continuous improvement of wind blades to improve quality and/or reduce costs through new or revised special processes and/or alternate materials

Work with supplier and cross-functional teams to resolve material processing related issues encountered. Review records to detect trends that may indicate undesirable changes in product quality

Perform root cause and corrective action analyses to solve problems encountered with manufacturing processes

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (OR a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years experience in Manufacturing or Engineering)

Minimum 5 years of Manufacturing or Engineering
