The position is part of the Salesforce & Marketing Cloud configuration team and is not only responsible for product and project management but also Salesforce & Marketing Cloud administration, configuration, and development. This is a remote position working anywhere in the US.The Main ResponsibilitiesDrive and manage the ongoing development of the CRM and Marketing tools.

Support adoption and integration of the CRM and Marketing tools into related areas of the organization.

Responsible for coordinating development of complex Salesforce product(s) from conception to delivery to optimize profit and meet marketing, financial and corporate growth objectives.

Gathers data on market conditions and customer requirements to assess appropriate implementation or management of Salesforce product which maximizes revenue and margins and aligns with corporate strategic direction.

Develop, test, demonstrate, and support Salesforce system configuration solutions – reporting, workflows, custom objects and fields, data-extensions, automations, dynamic content scripting and templates to support complex communication journeys using email, SMS, mobile push, direct mail and robo-calls.

Responsible for developing and enforcing key capabilities and standards related to: lead management, preference management, contact identity, naming conventions, GDPR, CCPA, and CITA best practices.

Participate in the solution design process with Marketing Cloud including building journeys, writing queries, building data extensions, writing AMPScripts and SSJS

Production support for existing campaign automation solutions as well as maintaining and troubleshooting active solutions

Assist in the design of marketing automation programs including Triggered Sends, Automation Studio Activities, Platform configuration, multi-channel integrations, audience segmentation, and other components needed for marketing campaigns

Partner with project teams to design and implement solutions with Salesforce Connector and data models with Sales/Service Cloud

What We Look For in a CandidateBachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related experience

6+ years related experience (4+ years with a master’s degree)

5+ years Salesforce administrator or developer experience with preference to developer skills

2+ years Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience

Experience working with internal business partners and outside consultants

Experience delivering solutions using agile methodologies and processes

Salesforce configuration, testing, and deployment experience

Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Developer, Cloud Consultant and/or Cloud Email Specialist

2+ years of exposure to integrations, developing and executing data migrations (SOAP APIs, REST APIs and integration techniques).

Experience with Lead Management and Reporting in Salesforce

Hands-on experience with Content Builder, Journey Builder, MobileConnect, Automation Studio, Contact Builder (Data Designer)

Experience with HTML and CSS (specifically for Emails)

Experience with scripting languages and protocols such as SQL, AMPScript, SSJS, JavaScript, XML, JSON

Experience with at least 2 full-scale SFMC projects

Strong knowledge and experience with integrating MC to back end systems

Experience creating complex email automations
