Reporting to the Program and Capture Engagement Division Director, as part of Supply Chain Management (SCM), this role will be the primary point of contact for SCM for communication with the GDIT programs, sales and business functions, such as the Intel/Defense/FedCiv vertical programs. In the case of Intel this role will also service the Internal GDIT functions (“internal customers”). Your primary role is to ensure customer requirements are fully understood and requirements communicated to SCM. Further, you are responsible for ensuring customers are regularly updated on supply chain activities such as quotes, pricing, or order status as examples.We are GDIT. You make it your own by embracing autonomy, seizing opportunity, and being trusted to deliver your best every day.This work involves performing the following tasks:Establish and maintain relationships with internal customers to understand their supply chain needs. Become the face of SCM to the internal customers including being present at key internal customer meetings

Balance the needs of internal customers with SCM’s ability to serve the customers on a day-to-day, week-to-week basis, including working directly with each to optimally meet business demands

Clearly communicate the needs of the internal customers to SCM’s Strategic Sourcing teams

Be the primary point of contact or “Project Manager” for handling internal process issues and supplier-related problems, and be the initial point person to solve these problems, including troubleshooting and expediting, escalating where needed

Perform troubleshooting and expediting as needed to support internal customers

Ensure high quality responses to internal customers regarding work in progress by SCM including order status

Provide input on specific processes, tools, and methods in coordination with SCM to provide improved support across SCM’s internal customers

Participate as the voice of the customer in key supplier negotiations and performance evaluations

This position is a hybrid work location and may require meeting with programs at the GDIT work location

Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree plus five (5) years of related industry experience, or nine (9) years related industry experience in lieu of the degree

8+ years of corporate supply chain management experience (experience in a Fortune 500 company and Government contractor preferred)

Exceptional capabilities in written and oral communications at all levels of the company

Strong customer orientation and desire to resolve problem

Prior exposure to agreement negotiations with suppliers, RFx, strategic sourcing approaches, total cost of ownership strategies, cost containment methodologies, market research, process streamlining, and category management functions within corporate supply chain management organizations.

Demonstrated knowledge of lifecycle SCM-related topic areas (including Pre-Award, Execution, Financial)

Experience in process analysis, issue analysis and resolution, and project management

Ability to work independently as the advocate for the GDIT customer/program and single POC into SCM

Desired Qualifications:Demonstrated understanding of FAR, compliance/regulatory, and audit implications

Working knowledge corporate functions such as finance, HR, marketing, sales/capture and programs

Demonstrated ability to resolve supply chain issues

Experience with systems, tools and related technology that supports Supply Chain and /or related organizations
