We are seeking a full-time experienced, Lead Audio Visual Installation Technician . The primary responsibility of this position is to lead the deployment of commercial Audio Visual systems.

Candidates must possess at least 3-5 years' technical experience in commercial Audio Visual integration utilizing the following types of equipment or equivalent;
Crestron Video and Control Devices
Extron Video and Control Devices
SVSI Video-over-IP Devices
DSP Devices such as BiAmp, BSS, Symetrix, or Q-Sys
Digital Audio Mixing Consoles
Wireless Microphone Systems; Shure or Sennheiser
Video Conferencing Devices such as Polycom, Lifesize, Vidyo, etc
Projectors and Projection Screens
Wall Mounted Display Devices
Ceiling and Wall Mounted Distributed Speaker Systems
Middle Atlantic Equipment Racks
Candidates must possess at least 3-5 years' installation experience in commercial Audio Visual integration performing the following tasks;
Loading and Wiring Equipment Racks in accordance with Infocomm standards
Loading and Wiring Presentation Lecterns, Credenzas, Conference Room Tables, etc
Mounting devices such as; Projectors, Screens, Display Devices, Speakers, Antennas, PTZ Cameras, Video-over-IP, etc
Reading and following AV Scopes of Work, Construction floor plans and AV wiring schematics
Testing and terminating various cable types and Custom Wall Plates via Solder, Crimp, Captive Screw, Terminal Blocks, etc
Uploading and testing custom programs for Control Systems, Touch Panels, and DSP Devices
Additional expectations of this position include;
Interacting with Clients and Contractors in a professional manner
Understanding construction job-site guidelines, hierarchy of management, change order procedures, etc
Understanding of OSHA safety guidelines with regard to operating hand and power tools, operating lifts, climbing ladders, working above ceiling, etc
Holding or obtaining industry certifications such as OSHA-10, OSHA-30, CTS, CTS-I and other various manufacture specific continuing education programs
Having the ability to make "field-decisions" as to not prohibit job progress
Informal Mentorship training of less experienced field technicians
Daily reporting to Project Managers about job site progress and technician performance
