In this role you will:
Assemble machines utilizing the specified assembly checklist
Disassemble and inspect machines utilizing the specified disassembly and inspection checklist
Communicate mechanical issues found during inspection to the appropriate Department Supervisor
Work closely and clearly communicate with the other departments, Mechanical personnel, Supervisor and Leads
Have/maintain ability to operate overhead cranes, torches, grinders, and forklifts
Maintain LEAN objectives within the department
Surface grind parts in the Grind Shop
Steam clean and wash parts in the Wash Bay
Observing Company Safety Policy and Procedures; follow and support all Safety Policies and ISO Procedures
To succeed in this role, you will need to:
Have experience working with turbo machinery repair, engine repair, and/or a similar type of work
Be able to work overtime when necessary
Be able to use precision measuring instruments
Comply with the requirements of risk assessments and safety procedures
