OverviewThe Associate Retail Project manager works closely with our retail account management to support the planning and execution of in-store marketing programs. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members across both our retail and client based sales forces. The Associate Retail Project Manager develop and manage timelines, keep team abreast of critical dates, schedule meetings as needed, write and update weekly job status reports and handle general administrative request.Responsibilities

Account Services

Serve as primary day-to-day retail customer contact at appropriate level;

Develop, nurture and maintain retail customer relationships;

Create sales presentations, schedule customer meetings, obtain program information from customer;

Initiate regular retail customer status meetings for all on-going projects including anticipating upcoming projects;

Attend marketing/ retail customer meetings;

Write recaps of meetings and issue within 24 hours of meeting/discussion;

Review trade journals, newspapers, magazines and web-sites specific to retail customer's industry to be aware of and stay abreast of marketing mix functions (integrated marketing, direct marketing, promotional marketing, etc.) and the objectives, strategies and tactics utilized;

Write/coordinate the creation of case studies for completed projects;

Assist VP Marketing with coordination of key customer presentations including market research studies;

Program Planning and Development

Ensure recommended program solutions fulfill retail customers sales/marketing goals and brand standards;

Effectively communicate program expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion;

Liaison with Marketing team to develop selling materials / financials to support program impletion from a retailer perspective;

Work with Retail Operations to create and manage timelines/due dates that keep project on track and set Frontline Marketing up for flawless execution;

Work closely with retail field team and customer’s to support them in generating new ideas/strategic concepts for platforms as well as retail custom promotions;

Program Execution & Implementation

Support execution of retail custom platforms with account team and internal departments;

Interact with sales team to assure proper information is supplied, on a timely manner;

Work with the retailer on allocating products for a specific time frame within the due dates;

Assist in managing merchandising teams and set expectations;

Work with Plan-O-Grams to create proper documentation for merchandising teams;

Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the program/retail teams;

Identify and manage program dependencies and critical path;

Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingency plans;

Analyze execution reports to assure program adheres with company expectations.

Financial Responsibilities

Help SVP manage overall profitability of accounts (for FrontLine and Retailer partners) – including communication of critical deadlines to client sales teams as it relates to cycle deadlines;

Assist in the development of Retailer Contracts and LOA’s to execute programs;

Provide reporting that tracks retailer revenue vs. goal;

Keep retailer and client sales teams abreast of changes in programs that may affect the overall budget and/or timing;

Miscellaneous projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, or related field or equivalent work experience required.

Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in retail or consumer packaged goods preferred (client or agency side). Research/analysis experiences a plus.

Retail customer service experience preferred

Must be able to handle multiple projects;

Strong organizational and communications skills;

Must be a team player within the FrontLine Marketing organization with a positive attitude;

Self-starter with strong analytical problem-solving ability

Ability to effectively develop and communicate ideas to upper management

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint

Be willing, able, readily available to work outside of "normal hours"

Assist and grow relations with Acosta Customer Services and Customer Business Managers

Provide follow-up on discussions, issues, projects, etc. internally & with customers
