Do you have the experience to join our Team?Pratt & Whitney PSD provides the aviation industry with capabilities for specialized repair of gas turbine engine cases and components. This position is responsible for processing /inspecting a large variety of engine cases/components to determine and verify conformance by means of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods, specifically FPI and X-Ray Inspection, to ensure conformance with acceptance criteria.Education / CertificationsHigh school diploma or GEDTechnical certificate or education highly preferredExperience/QualificationsBasic Qualifications: High School Diploma or GEDPreferred Qualifications: NDT Level 2 certification highly preferred Prefer 1 year of related experience/education in NDT methods for FPI Knowledge of the use of NDT inspection methods Ability to read and interpret FAA regulations and guidance material Experience in aviation component repair preferred Ability to follow written work instructions and engine manual instructions Basic knowledge of MS office programs SAP experience is a plus
