RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Project Manager with Agile Change Management experience in Aliso Viejo, CA.
Responsibilities:
Lead by influence in a matrix team/organization
Provides solution options with impacts and recommendations, thinks holistically from end to end
Demonstrates project management fundamentals
Charter and scope management, project schedules, RACI, RAID Logs, Risk and Issue Management, Change Request Management
Agile fundamentals in a scrum environment
Run and facilitate agile ceremonies from daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives as well as ad hoc sessions as needed
Maintain their sprint plans to reflect the approved project scope for MVP vs. backlog
Acts Like an Owner
Transparent with a positive outlook and abundance, servant leader mindset, focused on unblocking their teams and helping to make the team successful
Deliver in a Hybrid Environment
Work with teams that are both Agile and Non-Agile and can -telescope- between delivery frameworks and levels
Manage multiple projects of medium-to-large size simultaneously, and their respective project teams of varying sizes, complexity and backgrounds
Establish and maintain project plans, project status reports, generate risk assessments, escalate issues, and facilitate project review presentations
REQUIREMENTS:
Demonstrates agile fundamentals in a scrum environment
Able to run and facilitate agile ceremonies from daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives as well as ad hoc sessions as needed
Strong leadership skills
Superior work planning, organization and management skills
Problem-solving to maintain target date delivery
Excellent knowledge of waterfall SDLC and ability to adopt to environment-specific methodology and terminology
Good knowledge of IT functions and terminology, and comfort managing projects including technology work streams
Strong Microsoft Project skills
Self-starter and ability work independently with minimal direction
Good business judgment and ability to advise business and IT in an objective and professional manner
