Possesses awareness of significant contributing factors to manage project change, demonstrates a solid understanding of the end to end business processes and the critical IT dependencies as well as knowledge of additional regions and Enterprise needs.Primary duties may included, but are not limited to: Manages pharmacy client implementation project across business units, regions or the enterprise.

Influences at all levels within the organization, often setting strategy and direction.

Coaches and mentors project team members; mentors other project managers around project management methodology.

Determines project scope.

Develops resource, risk, quality, cost, and scope management plans; develops training plans.

Defines, recommends and secures contractual agreements for services and products.

Coordinates requirements, schedules implementation and post-implement plans, and develops service-level agreements for vendor partners and global resources firms.

Develops requirements documents.

Develops project approval matrix.

Identifies project team training and tool needs.

Defines quality gates for each project methodology phase.

Defines critical success factors.

Establishes and manages the project warranty period.

Qualifications BA/BS in a related field; Minimum of 9 years professional project management experience required during which at least 7 years are spent leading and directing large project tasks, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Masters in Project Mgt preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.Other Qualifications:Experience leading Health Plan or Pharmacy client implementations – required

Pharmacy Benefit Manager experience – preferred

Proven ability to meet deadlines

Ability to lead multiple, highly visible projects simultaneously

Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment, learn quickly, solve problems and make decisions

Demonstrated ability to coordinate people and teams cross functionally to resolve complex issues with designated time frames

Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills
