DescriptionWe have a Healthcare company in the Central Valley that is seeking a Senior Executive Assistant. The Senior Executive Assistant will provide skilled administrative support to the CEO, Deputy CEO and Board of Directors.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Demonstrates effective communication and problem-solving skills. Consistently adhere and/or exceed GVHC’s communication guidelines and expectations with patients, peers, and supervisors. Communicate effectively by using welcoming words, proper tone of voice, appropriate body language, eye contact and smiling with every interaction. Listens skillfully and displays a willingness and ability to acknowledge the needs, expectations and values of others through the use of reflective listening and empathy conveyance. Responds to needs in ways that are helpful and beyond expectation. Serve as executive assistant to CEO, Deputy CEO and Board of Directors; preparation of communications, schedules, purchase orders, credit card charges, meeting coordination, travel arrangements and planning. Represent GVHC as needed in community functions/ meetings. Develop electronic communication tools to meet internal and external communication needs. Prep and prepare quality presentations for CEO and Deputy CEO. Work collaboratively across all GVHC departments in support of Administration’s role at GVHC. Develop, maintain and monitor systems that improve office efficiency. Prepare correspondence, memos, grant applications and reports as directed. Research and investigate information to support strategic decisions (researching web sites etc.). Operate and ensure operating efficiency of office equipment; develop processes for the monitoring and maintenance of office and departmental supplies and equipment. Keep up-to-date files of all correspondence, memos, grant applications and agreements for department. Organize contacts for accuracy and efficiency. Board of Directors, (Attend all regular meetings of the Board of Directors. Make preparation for Board and committee. Call Members/ email as required with reminders of meeting, etc. Prepare Board packets, minutes for board meetings, maintain Board files and correspondence. Assist Board of Directors as needed (scheduling meetings, trainings, reimbursementsetc.). Handle confidential information and matters of discretion in a professional manner. Direct and lead the work of others. Assist with special projects as required. Position: Senior Executive Assistant Location: Merced – G Street Admin Building Assignment: Now - TBD Wage: $25.00 (or more for the right candidate) Hours: Mon – Fri, 8am – 5pm with flexibility to travel and work flexible hours to accommodate program schedules Reqs: Bachelor’s degree preferred, Minimum of 5 years of administrative experience at the executive level. Bilingual English / Spanish preferred, proven organizational skills; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; written, proofing and composition skills; ability to interact with community, operational and clinical personnel; wide range of creativity and flexibility; plan, organize, coordinate, and monitor the work of committees.
