Health Advocates is seeking a Supervisor with healthcare experience for our client hospital sites located in Bakersfield, Visalia, and Fresno.

Job Summary

Provide assistance to the Director of Client Services in working with clients for:

• Resolving customer's issues and questions in a timely and professional manner

• Becoming a reliable point of contact for each hospital client that is required to establish a strong business relationship

• Developing open and effective channels of communication with each client

• Providing regular updates to hospital clients on work performances

• Supervision of on-site staff based at hospital sites

• Assistance with Marketing and Client Development in assigned regions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred

• 2+ years of supervisory experience

• Prior healthcare experience working at a hospital, medical office, or clinic

• Knowledge of benefit programs such as Medi-Cal, Medicare, VOC, TPL

• Must have a valid California driver's license and a clean DMV record

• Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance required

• Ability to travel to different client sites

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong customer service skills

• Must be able to pass background check

• Must be able to type 35 wpm

Working Title: Supervisor

Pay Rate: Depends on Expereince

Position Type: Full-time; Exempt

Schedule: Alternative Work Week Schedule: Mon-Thur 7:30 am - 5:00 pm and Fri 7:30 am -12:30 pm

Testing: Successful completion of a Basic Office Skills (grammar, spelling, filing), typing, writing test.
