Job Summary: Mechanical repair service on tank trailers, tank trucks, portable tanks.
Responsibilities: This position is responsible for troubleshooting, disassembly, assembly, service, repair of components parts and systems to the trailers, truck chassis, truck bodies and tanks. May also include some material handling, grinding, drilling, and work in confined spaces. Relevant skills and knowledge consist of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulics. Work duties are under the direction and supervision of the department supervisor.
Physical Requirements: Lifting up to 50# on occasion. Frequently lift up to 10# parts.
Other Requirements: Problem solving, ability to communicate with appropriate individuals. Good team relation and communication skills are essential. Confined space entry.
Experience: High school graduate desired. Relevant work experience.
