WELDER/FABRICATOR - PRODUCTION - Bakersfield, CA
Job Summary: A Welder Fabricator performs various tasks necessary to weld and/or fabricate tanks and components using Metal Inert Gas (MIG) and Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding processes.
Responsibilities: This position is responsible for the layout and fit-up of various component parts to the vessel as well as material handling, grinding, drilling, and some work in confined spaces. Work duties are directed by general verbal and written instructions and drawing prints. Work duties are under the direction and supervision of the department supervisor/team leader.
Physical Requirements: Lifting up to 50# on occasion. Frequently lift up to 10# parts.
Other Requirements: Problem solving, ability to communicate with appropriate individuals to correct. Good team relation and communication skills are essential. Confined space entry.
Experience: High school graduate desired. Relevant work experience in manufacturing or similar work environment required. Fabrication and fit up experience. Aluminum welding experience a
