Mechanic must be able to perform preventative maintenance, run inspections, diagnostics tests, and repair a variety of vehicles and equipment. Mechanics are expected to work on several different and demanding tasks that require substantial effort and commitment.
Skill Requirements:
Must have trouble shooting skills on diesel engines, transmissions, heavy suspension, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes and air brake certified.
Welding and cutting skills are preferred. Must be a good communicator and have good work relation skills. Must be able to lift 50-90 lbs.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience working on heavy equipment and diesel engines
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Must have steady current work history
Must be able to supply your own complete set of master mechanic hand tools and impact wrenches
Successfully pass pre-employment drug screen, physical, background and motor vehicle records check
Ability to perform physical requirements of the position
