Volt has immediate opportunities for experienced Maintenance Mechanics for a food manufacturing facility in Bakersfield, CA. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will provide technical support to all aspects of the manufacturing processes by maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing production equipment and support systems. Essential Functions Inspects equipment and performs preventative maintenance. Troubleshoots, diagnoses and makes necessary repairs to machinery and equipment. Installs, dismantles, overhauls, assembles and/or modifies machinery and equipment. Completes all appropriate documentation. Adheres to all company, state and federal safety regulations.
3-5 years of working in the food manufacturing maintenance industry.
Knowledge of electronic, mechanical, electrical, welding and Pneumatic and hydraulic services to assigned equipment.
Great communication and written skills. To communicate with peers, and leadership as well as any report writing.
Must have own tools.
Knowledge of TPM, RCM, PLC Programming, Machine Shop Skills, Electrical Construction and Ammonia Refrigeration. Please email resume to irincon@volt.com
