COOL OFF IN PISMO BEACH That's right, during the hot summer months in Bakersfield you can now work four days a week on and three days off in Pismo Beach. Where you will be provided employee accommodations with a view of the Pacific Ocean free of charge. That's right, you can spend some (your choice) time in Pismo Beach this summer and get paid. You will work a 4-10 schedule, four days on ten hours per day and three days off per week.

EXPERIENCED MOTORCOACH BUS DRIVERS WANTED for our Amtrak daily bus service. OR, IF YOU CURRENTLY HAVE A VALID CLASS B, Passenger Endorsed, with air brakes and you currently hold a valid School Bus/SPAB Certificate we have PART AND FULL TIME charter work available. Full time School Bus or SPAB Certified Drivers qualify for a $3,000.00 sign on bonus, call for details!
LOCAL TRANSIT, shuttle drivers and School Bus Drivers make the change and become an AMTRAK CHARTER BUS DRIVER. If you are an experienced transit bus operator, shuttle bus driver, long haul truck driver or school bus/SPAB driver this is the job for you. To join our training class we require that you be at least 25 years old, have a clean driving record, pass the background check, and become a driver with an AmericanStar once you have obtain your CDL and certifications.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid CDL - Class A or B with "P" and air brake endorsements.
Excellent driving record.
Must be able to pass drug test, physical, and background check
SPAB or School Bus Certificate a Plus!
Strong commitment to Safety and Service
Excellent Customer Service Skills
25 years of age or older
Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Friendly and courteous professionalism with all passengers and staff members!
Adhere to safety rules and regulations
Safe and cautious driving
Maintain accurate electronic log book
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
History of being on-time!
Follow company policies
Be a team player and work well with co-drivers and co-workers
Planned routes and mapping for assigned charters
Flexible and responsive in a positive manner to passenger needs
Able to positively manage stressful situations which may include weather, traffic or demanding patrons.
A current DMV K-4 (your 3 year driving history) which must be less than 30 days old
Clean driving record and background check
Required to pass a D.O.T. physical exam and drug/alcohol testing.
