For over 50 years we have specialized in the safe and secure hauling of a variety of bulk commodities. T&T Trucking provides services to most of the Western States including California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Arizona and Utah. We have a wide selection of specialized trailers and other hauling equipment to ensure material arrives at its location on time and safely.
At this time we are accepting applications for a Trailer Mechanic/Welder. A potential candidates will be able to fully service; tank trailers, transfers, and other similar equipment.

Employee must be able to:
Attend work on the schedule established by the employer without excessive absenteeism.
Follow all safe work practices.
Perform 90 day BIT inspections
Change hoses, fittings, air valves, suspension parts, etc.
Move trucks and trailers in and out of shop for maintenance and repair by using, yard goat, forklift or truck.
Cleanup work area daily.
Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and neatly
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills:
Understand and apply professional service techniques; work quickly and skillfully with hands; complete services accurately and completely.
Education:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Experience:
Steel/Aluminum experience
MIG and TIG experience
Acetylene torch, plasma cutting experience
Knowledge of:
Methods, materials, equipment and tools used in vehicle and equipment maintenance and repair.
Standard practices of trailer repair and maintenance.
Methods and techniques of welding and fabrication.
Occupational hazards and standard safety practices.
Shop mathematics.
Physical:
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in a mechanic shop environment: walk, stand, and sit for prolonged periods of time; frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, balance, climb, reach and twist; push, pull, lift and/or carry moderate to heavy amounts of weight; operate assigned equipment and vehicles; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
