The Program Coordinator will help design and run ongoing cyclical programs in line with Square’s People strategy and vision. You will help drive awareness, understanding, acceptance, delivery and successful adoption of people programs that drive overall employee engagement. These programs include the annual performance review cycles as well as its promotion and compensation planning counterparts. This role may expand to additional ongoing programs such as benefits open enrollment.

You will:

  • Collect business data, workforce insights (e.g. engagement surveys), and industry best practices that are used to set priorities and refine the people strategy.

  • Partner with internal communications and other key stakeholders to define the people team brand, define and execute an internal communication strategy.The communications strategy should also address digital channels / tactics (e.g. apps)

  • Deliver program initiatives and drive adoption of these programs. This includes: executive sponsorship, stakeholder engagement, communications, and business process design.

  • Support with rollout of templates, tools, and other materials to help HR Business Partners deliver programs to the business units they support.

  • Contribute to the development of plans to scale delivery of programs in different geographies.

  • Measure effectiveness and impact of communications and change management initiatives.

  • Implement changes for improving processes over time.

You have:

  • 2+ years experience in at least three of the following areas: strategic communications, learning & development, performance management, HR generalist, change enablement, and/ or human capital consulting.

  • 1+ years program/ project management

  • Outstanding verbal, written, organizational and presentation skills.

  • History of strong partnering and collaboration across teams and organizational boundaries.

  • Strong strategic and systems thinker who helps others understand the big picture.

  • Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to set priorities, solve problems, and get things done in a startup environment.

Qualifications

You have:
