Description
Robert Half Technology is looking for a Wireless Solutions Architect for a contract to full time role mostly remote but some onsite needed in the bay area. To be successful in this role you will have strong experience with Cisco Wireless technologies, along with Juniper and Arista. This role will also including pre and post sales duties, whiteboarding with clients and best practices in wireless deployments, support around Wireless solutions (small to large scale involving hundreds of access points).
Requirements
Notes on the role:
-Focused on wireless technologies
-Pref CCIE wireless level architect
-A lot of cisco wireless experience, meraki wireless
-Aruba - pref but not as high priority
-#1 cisco, #2 juniper #3 aruba
-Design, documentation, documentations, trainings, implementations etc.
-Good documentation skills
-Team size - 9 total, engineers and architects (5-30 years exp)
-Could be a network that has 5 access points to 500 or 700 access points
Pre-sales activities include:
-developing the design and architecture
-validating customer's design
-creating statement of work for post-sales
-building Bill of Materials
-working with sales teams and customers to gather requirements and position solutions
-creating and delivering presentations, trainings, POC's for customers
-Documentation of high- and low-level design, implementation plans, topology, test plans
Post-sales activities include :
-Implementing the solution as per agreed upon design
-Configuration and end-to end testing of the solution
-Troubleshooting
-Being available for cutovers and weekend work
-Working with pre-sales on documentation
A CCIE Wireless is preferred, but not mandatory. Hand on Experience with Aruba and Juniper Mist is highly preferred.
