job summary:
We require dedicated Retail Performance Consultants that will work in the field, directly with dealerships, to enhance dealer capacity to sell more vehicles and parts. Our consultants will be focused on optimizing dealer processes and operations to clearly demonstrate improvements in profitability, sales and service. The people who fill these positions will represent on the front lines and establish an approach to dealer coaching that will be scaled across the network.

Role Responsibilities:
Dealership Performance Coaching
- Meet regularly with dealer personnel to evaluate and improve operational performance with a focus on profitability, new car sales, used car sales, digital approach, lead handling, CRM and fixed operations
- Regular in-store contact with dealer principals and general managers to ensure buy-in from the top
- Consult on organizational structure, job role definition and compensation models to ensure that plans and policies align with a volume growth model for new sales and other functions
- Drive performance improvements in dealership sales throughput and profitability by identifying areas of strengths and opportunities with dealer processes to implement solutions
- Customize approach with each dealership according to their strengths, weaknesses and market
- Develop and support strategic action plans to enhance retail operations and performance
- Work in concert with Retail Performance Managers who will lead strategic direction and co-pilot dealer engagements in specified markets
- Coordinate meetings and strategy with regional personnel in field and with leadership at HQ
- Develop trusting relationships and continuous dialogue with dealers to support their operations and align with regional team priorities
- Initial engagements will be market-based for 90 days with identified dealerships participating
Analytical & Administrative Support
- Preparing for dealer visits by analyzing appropriate reports in advance
- Scheduling dealer visits within assigned territory in optimal manner
- Communicating regularly with Retail Performance Manager in local market
- Tracking and reporting on effectiveness of initiatives
