Junior IT Support Technician is needed for an international retail and wholesale packaging company in Buena Park, CA for a Deployment and PC Refresh project The junior level candidate may be required to work a flexible Weekday/Weekend schedule. Summary: We have deployed approximately 200 PCs to remote users, around the Country/US in an effort to update/refresh old equipment and OS. They are moving from Windows 7 – Windows 10. Overview: When the equipment was shipped to the user, instructions were included to reach out via email to a tech-inbox email with their availability to schedule the migration (in most cases) from their current pc (still up and running on the network) to their newly (most likely unboxed…) received pc. The user technical level will vary so we are looking for technicians who have patience, understand and can troubleshoot issues that can occur during a migration based on asking the right questions and from their own deployment experience. Responsibilities:
The Technician will be additional support to the current team (unsure of how many current team members support the refresh daily…) supporting the deployment project and will sit onsite in Buena Park, CA.
Equipment consist of a docking station and PC.
Daily expectations currently are in the timeframe of 1 – 2 hours per setup/config, around 4 -8 machines (although more is fine…), per day.
