The Critical Facilities organization provides physically secure, environmentally stable, high availability hosting services. In conjunction with the rest of End User and Technical Operations the organization delivers managed facility, server, storage, authentication, and DNS services to Enterprise Technology clients. Our team plays a dual role, managing the data center facility and its assets and providing break/fix support as directed by the Platform and or Network Operations team.

This position is part of the Critical Facilities organization within End User Technologoy Operations. As the facilities management specialist, you will supervise the on-site physical security team 24 x 7, write all the processes and assists with training as needed. This position oversees the Orlando Data Center shipping and receiving warehouse for all data center and office areas equipment totaling millions of dollars each year. The facilities management manage small to medium sized facility repairs and project work (e.g., security fences, doors, cameras, property signage, and various miscellaneous facility related initiatives).

This position is responsible for coordinating data center process and procedures for physical access in all Critical Facilities data centers. The facilities management specialist will obtain and provide material to support monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and as requested access, PCI, SOX and Management audits. Additionally, this position manages all office and miscellaneous facility supplies. This position also oversees and coordinates all Critical Facilies server, application and tool patching and vulnerability management.

Responsibilities:

  • Primary contact for Critical Facilities physical security, application / tool management, general maintenance and general disposition of assets (in the Orlando Data Center).
  • Analyze, process, track and audit all physical access requests.
  • Manage assigned workflow tasks in order to provide timely turnaround to clients, timely resolution and/or escalation of client issues.
  • Troubleshoot, document and process technical issues using the Enterprise Techology ticketing system.
  • Interface with other team members in the Enterprise Technology organization to support deployments, technology evaluations, or other efforts requiring facility involvement.
  • Author, update and maintain all documentation for areas of responsibility; policies, processes, procedures, etc.
  • Provide Critical Facilities' application and tool support, including vulnerability management.
  • Provide material and support monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and as requested access, PCI, SOX and Management audits.
  • Oversee ODC shipping and receiving warehouse services.
  • Oversee ODC general maintenance services.
  • Oversee and facilitate material ordering.
  • Oversee and support media destruction and disposition of assets (Property Control / hard drive shredding / etc.)
  • Infrastructure repair, expansion and replacement projects and initiatives.
  • Perform financial management for services; contracts, purchase orders, invoicing, etc.
  • Complete services and tool audits.
  • Provide Critical Facilities tracking and reporting (operational, financial, capacity, materials, etc.).
  • Follow policies, processes and procedures.
  • Participate in training programs


Basic Requirements
  • 3 years administration support; relevant facilities experience.
  • Facilities experience in physical security, warehouse operations, policies and procedure creation, and project management / facilitation for small to medium sized projects. Familiarity with Lenel, ITIL, ServiceNow, iTRACS and the Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and SharePoint).


Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business Administration
  • Datacenter experience


Education

Associate Degree or equivalent experience.
