Location: On-Site Duration: 6+ Months Responsibilities/Job Duties/Job Description/Qualifications: 1 - Work on various projects as defined by project managers 2 - Work on tickets in support of production clients 3 - Changes to switches to support requests from Avaya or ATT Team 4 - field ad hoc LAN and WLAN support for productions and corporate 5 - Check Alerts in Logic Monitor and ATT and respond as appropriate 6 - Answer the Network Operations line and respond to client request ad hoc 7 - Manage and maintain wireless network consisting 2500 Waps and 4 Local WLCs 8 - respond to production trouble requests - troubleshoot client networks 9 -Assist voice teams with troubleshooting any voice issues 10 -Assist electrical, HVAC, card reader/security camera teams with LAN and WLAN issues/installs. 11 -network support during generator tests, yearly building power down on lot and off lot. 12-Working with Aruba to troubleshoot AP issues, Aruba controller issues.
Overall Purpose: This career step requires career level experience. Responsible for the requirements, testing, planning and implementation of network software, hardware and applications relative to new product delivery, systems architecture, process enhancements, infrastructure and security.
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Provide tech solutions and network support for provisioning, assurance, admin, inventory, processes and practices. Participates in network support project activities including tech/business requirements and design, tech writing and Methods/Proc. Assist in coordination, evaluation and partnership with tech vendors, outside consultants and internal resources. Part of a 24X7 staff delivering network tech support. Provides tech troubleshooting and leadership required to recover from the most complex network problems. Identification of root cause, resolution, work arounds, testing and implementation of vendor/IT fixes or design changes. As Subject Matter Expert works closely with business partners to identify/quantify business issues associated with specific projects, develop/implement business strategy, and assist in setting strategic tech direction in support of customer facing organizations. Review/approve proposed tech system designs. May review and interpret technical documentation and vendor specs for inclusion/adaptation into database templates. Will perform work at customer location. Job Contribution: Technical professional with some experience. Sound technical knowledge growing through application, expanding knowledge of ATT technologies.
Education: Typically a BS degree in Math, Science or Engineering, Computer Sciences or Operations preferred or equivalent related network experience. Experience: Typically requires 2-3 years experience. Technical Career Pathway (TCP) role. Supervisory: No. Environmental Requirements: This position may be responsible for contributing to AT&T compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.
