QA Test Analyst 2 - Burlingame, CA (remote to start)
QA Test Analyst are the senior testers in their QA teams, capable of delivering world-class test planning and execution and driving the end-to-end testing of multiple features. They also serve as mentors for more junior members of the team. TA II's must also be capable of professional, clear verbal and written communication with other disciplines including team group posts to share test status and provide clarity on defect reports. Beyond just maintaining existing test cases, TA's are responsible for authoring new test cases as new features are added and requirements change. TA's prevent randomization of the engineering teams by reviewing the bugs reported in their areas to identify duplicates, asking bug creators for clarification when sufficient detail is not provided, and ensuring that bugs adhere to bug reporting standards. TAII's are also responsible for identifying test and process gaps and raising them to the Quality leadership team.
