Job Title: Core Engineering - Automation Engineer II Tax Work Location: Burlingame, CA
Summary: The main function of an automation engineer is to ensure Portal’s Automated Testing Infrastructure and Frameworks are stable, scalable, and capable of working with all new prototypes. This work includes, but is not limited to, supporting the Lab Environment for our prototypes, supporting new features for our automation frameworks to facilitate testing, and ensuring our infrastructure can scale with our testing. The typical automation engineer is responsible for the stability and scalability of our testing infrastructure for automation tests, as well as making data-driven decisions.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop, support and test frameworks and services for tests and test automation
Debug and resolve issues from test infrastructure.
Support engineers as they automate tests.
Support test automation for product releases and new prototypes
Use data to inform decisions and create dashboards and alerting for infrastructure
Skills:
