The company was founded by Pasquale Rotella and has been based in Los Angeles since it was formed in 1993.THE ROLEInsomniac Events is currently seeking candidates for a Human Resources Intern. This position will provide direct support to the Human Resources team. This is a paid internship and is not a remote position.RESPONSIBILITIES

Gain knowledge of corporate special event management and activity coordination, working alongside internal staff

Gain knowledge of corporate lunch and activity coordination

Research event venue locations for corporate sponsored events

Maintain annual social event budget and forecast with provided agendas when applicable

Constant exercise of project management skills with following corporate events

Brainstorm employee engagement opportunities

Shadow professional development and training opportunities related to time keeping & payroll, HRIS, recruiting & onboarding, employment law, employee relations, production HR, training & development, benefits

Brainstorm company-wide announcements and templates

Other tasks and projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be 18 years of age and currently enrolled in an accredited college, university or trade school

Must be able to work out of Calabasas, CA office at least three days a week

Typical commitment is 18-24 hours per week

Must be motivated with an “Everything is possible” attitude

Must be an active problem solver, instilled with a sense of urgency for projects large and small

Knowledge of dance music and Insomniac’s brands
