This is a Full-Time position. The opening is located at our luxurious apartment community in Cardiff By The Sea; 300 units. Leasing AgentProperty West Residential is looking to hire talented individuals with excellent sales skills. Leasing Agent are the heart of our communities, understanding the importance of a new home and the individual need of each new resident. They are multitalented, personable and positive individuals with sales expertise and a passion for building long term resident relationships. As a Leasing Agent, you will work closely with the community manager to provide exceptional service to residents. Each day will be unique, requiring an ability to prioritize, multitask, think creatively, take initiative, and employ a diverse set of skills. You will encounter a variety of prospective or resident needs, recommend solutions and overcome concerns, and earn commitment by guiding new residents through the leasing process. Leasing Agent bring positive energy to each conversation, resolve all resident concerns quickly and effectively, and make everyone feel welcome and appreciated.Core Responsibilities: ? Manage the leasing process by guiding new residents through each step, completing and verifying all lease applications and discussing results with applicants. ? Keep accurate records of prospective and current residents. ? Handle transactions like accepting rent and deposits and inspecting move-ins and move-outs. ? Collaborate with talented teammates to identify and solve any apartment issues that arise. ? Plan fun activities that help build a bond throughout the community residents.Education, Experience and Requirements:High-school graduate, College graduate preferred.
Successful previous property management experience.
Knowledge of general business and accounting concepts and practices.
Self-motivated, responsible, accountable, with a desire to excel and grow.
Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
Highest levels of honesty, integrity and ethics.
Work schedule flexibility, including weekends and holidays as needed or required.
Additional Eligibility qualifications:
ARM or CSM designation or in process.
Previous experience in analyzing and administrating residential lease and/or contract language.
Proficient in computer skills and in business-related software, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Experience with PM software; Entrata software knowledge a plus!
