Position: Sr. Financial Analyst with - Biopharma industry exp needed

Job Description
The Treasury Analyst will participate in the execution of the Company’s financial risk management program.
The program includes the identification, assessment, response, monitoring and control of various types of financial risk, including but not limited to currency, interest rate and counterparty risk.
Essential Functions
Monitor and review accounting and treasury systems to identify and assess foreign exchange exposure related to the income statement and balance sheet.
Participate in the design and implementation of effective foreign exchange and interest rate hedging strategies that are in compliance with GAAP and other regulatory governance such as Dodd-Frank and EMIR.
Maintain knowledge of business transactions and establish communication with local finance and accounting teams to identify business process changes.
Build and develop forecast models that predict income statement, balance sheet and cash flow exposures by sales region and currency.
Maintain market knowledge to assess the effect of current and future movements of foreign exchange and interest rates and the impacts on the company.
Prepare performance measurement packages, accounting entries and key analytics for monthly and quarterly close process for financial Risk Management activities.
Participate in other analysis in support of the Treasury Department, as required.

Understand risk exposures and execute strategies to minimize risk of loss.
Erroneous decisions will have a serious impact on the overall success of functional, division, or company operations.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, multi-national corporate environment.
Education:
Requires a bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA or CPA preferred.
Experience:
Five years of corporate finance or accounting experience: previous hedging experience is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of and ability to use systems such as: accounting applications, treasury system, and hedging software.
Contacts:
Has contact with all levels of company employees as well as frequent interaction with banks.
