This role will be part of a cross-functional team tasked with identifying, initiating, and implementing high impact strategies with a focus on reducing supply chain risk for Chemicals and Bio-Chemicals. The ideal candidate will have experience in the use of statistical tools such as Design of Experiments (DOE) to establish best practices for method and process validation, as well as documentation of process development. The candidate must be capable of performing bench science activities and analysis, including self-directed work plans and experimental procedures. This position requires the ability to influence without direct authority by utilizing training, experience, and people/leadership skills to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.What will you do?Design and execute experimental studies based on the deliverables. Ability to analyze and summarize the data and provide complete documentation.

Develop analytical methods and execute experimental design

Evaluate and compare raw material specifications to make recommendations for sources of alternate supply

Lead and complete improvement or root cause analysis projects with a high degree of complexity and scope.

Prepare and execute validation protocols.

Works cross-functionally to efficiently release products, resolve problems, and provide support to other departments across the organization.

Present experimental results at team meetings and seminars.

Other projects/duties as assigned.

How will you get there?EducationB.S. in a science or engineering discipline, expert in statistical analysis, with greater than 5 years of post-academic experience and a record of significant contributions to the business

Or, M.S. in a science or engineering discipline, expert in statistical analysis, with greater than 3 years of post-academic experience and a record of significant contributions to the business

ExperienceExperience with Design of Experiments (DOE), Measurement System Analysis, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and other statistical tools.

A working knowledge of general protein and molecular biology laboratory techniques.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Experience preparing experimental plans, presenting statistical analysis results and project report.

Must be a flexible team player capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Ability to effectively influence without direct authority.

Project management experience.

Working experience with TrackWise and Agile EDMS a plus

Ability to lift up-to 20 pounds
