What You Will Do?
Successfully lead large enterprise-wide complex programs and projects to ensure business goals and objectives are delivered on time, on budget, with quality, and with full scope
Build, develop, and grow business relationships vital to the success of the programs
Follow defined project management frameworks and SDLCs to guarantee delivery
Assist in or lead the development of business requirements, solution design and delivery, testing and training
Lead the detailed planning and management of projects through to completion
Own the accountability, execution timelines, and continuous change management of assigned programs and projects
Provide innovative solutions to overcome blocking issues and escalate risks in a timely manner
Continuously improve processes, tasks, and milestones using feedback and lessons learned as input into existing or future project plans
Maintain the appropriate metrics related to project activities and submit in accordance with required procedures
Coach, mentor, and motivate project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
Maintain extensive knowledge and expertise in project management disciplines, as well as multiple business processes and/or technical areas
Communicate regularly to leadership and other key stakeholders on the status of assigned projects and program initiatives in a transparent manner that fosters collaboration
Work with IT business leaders to understand requirements
Assist the Engineering Excellence team in process improvement initiatives and the management of portfolios
Continually strive for improvements in process, talent acquisition/retention, and quality
Perform other duties as assigned
How You will Get There:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
8+ years of Technical/Project Management Experience
PMP or PgMP certification and current PMI membership
5+ years of managing Agile and SAFe multi-team programs/projects
CSM or SAFe certification or equivalent experience desired
Proficiency with tools used in Agile development (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
Strong familiarity with project management standards and methodologies including PMI Body of Knowledge
Experience of managing large scale complex and cross-functional programs and aggressive schedules and limited resources
Adept at making trade-offs to balance business vs technology needs/constraints to resolve bottlenecks and deliver incremental value
Proven ability to lead a matrixed global team of professionals to complete projects on time
Demonstrated conflict resolution skills
Excel in conflict resolution, negotiation, and people management.
Experience in facilitating change, including collaboration with management and executive stakeholders
Strong interpersonal and excellent documentation skills are a must
Ability to explain and champion technical concepts to a broad audience
Motivated self-starter with strong problem-solving capabilities
Exhibit meticulous attention to detail, and have the ability to make good, timely decisions
Excellent presentation skills
Preferably global experience with diverse cultures
Excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
Up to 20% travel
