The Salesforce Senior Developer will work as part of the Technology and Products team to develop on the Salesforce.com platform in support of our Sales, Marketing, Operations and Business Development teams. You will work very closely with the VP of Technology, VP of Marketing and VP of Operations and executives of other departments in defining the roadmap for Salesforce and work on the development of new features.

The Salesforce Senior Developer l will design, develop, test and deploy new Salesforce features and as time permits work on other web applications. The Senior Developer must be able to troubleshoot issues and work with Salesforce Product Owners and Stakeholders to resolve them. The candidate must have knowledge of a variety of concepts, practices and procedures in software development.

Responsibilities

• Configure APIs and Web Services between Salesforce and other applications
• Customization of Salesforce fields, page layouts, record types, reports and dashboards
• Provide technical expertise and best practices for SFDC development
• Write complex business logic in Apex classes
• Plan, create and execute unit testing
• Assist with analysis efforts and documentation

Background & Experience

• Experience with APEX and VisualForce
• Experience in Lightning UI and Lightning components
• Ability working with Rest API's
• Ability to manage develop projects encompassing Apex Classes, Triggers, S-Controls, etc
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Advanced knowledge and practical experience with application design principles, patterns and practices
• Demonstrated ability to present application designs to development and project team
• Ability to use BitBucket, Git or other code management tools
• Competent in Agile techniques
• Experience with website development using Sites and Authenticated Sites
• Experience with web technologies a huge plus.
• Proven knowledge of SFDC best practices

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
• At least 1 year of development experience on the Salesforce.com platform
• Experience with DBAmp a plus
• Experience with REST based web services
• Salesforce Developer Certification a plus
• Experience in a startup environment preferred
• Salesforce integration development experience required
• Knowledge of application development and project management methodologies
• Master of Science in Computer Engineering or a Bachelor of Science in a related field and a minimum of three years' of additional related experience
