Job Description

We are currently searching for an experienced Procurement Agent/Purchasing Buyer. This role is currently remote but will eventually be on-site at our Carson, CA headquarters. Successful candidates will have experience forecasting and buying finished goods and possess a solid knowledge of replenishment software. We value a team approach—so the ability to work collaboratively is essential. A background in retail and import purchasing is a big plus.

A day at Lakeshore looks like this:
Managing and executing the purchase of finished products from domestic and import vendors for multichannel distribution
Analyzing historical data, statistical information and sales reports in order to trend future replenishment needs
Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams on new item launches, product revisions and end-of-life scenario
Minimizing overstock while maintaining a best-in-class fill rate
Managing daily/weekly replenishment to stores

Qualifications

Got the skills and experience? Here’s what we’re looking for:
Minimum of 2 years of purchasing experience in multichannel distribution (or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain)
Retail purchasing and store replenishment experience is a plus
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Clear verbal and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Strong math skills
Proven decision-making skills
A strong sense of urgency and impeccable follow-through
Ability to prioritize while juggling many tasks in a fast-paced setting
A team orientation and the ability to work independently
Knowledge of replenishment software
