DescriptionRobert Half Technology is looking for a Help Desk Technician for one of our clients in Cerritos, CA. This Helpdesk Technician position performs tasks related to the repair of a variety of technology-based products typically associated in an end-user computing environment. This individual will be responsible for imaging, deploying and repairing desktops and laptops. If you are a self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for working in an innovative environment, you will thrive in this position. Below are the following responsibilities for the PC Technician position.RequirementsRespond to all level I service calls and emails from internal and external customersWhen necessary, escalate level I service to a level II technicianDiagnose problems to module or component levelDetermine parts, supplies or tools needed to complete service requestsUse, maintain and secures test devices and tools used to adjust, calibrate and repair equipmentForwards any issues or special problems to Customer Support ManagerLoad, deliver, install, spec, and train customers on the use and basic maintenance of equipment sold (will provide internal training)Manage the installation service components(parts) load, deliver, install, spec, and train customers on the use and basic maintenance of equipment soldComplete all required paperwork (i.e. time sheets, service orders, expense reports)Ensures the return of defective modules assemblies or parts to the office and label itemsRobert Half Technology matches IT professionals with remote or on-site jobs on a temporary, project or full-time basis.
