Jack L. Spence Trucking is seeking a full time (M-F,8-5) or part time (M-F, noon to 5:00) office staff. Candidate must have experience in all areas of full charge bookkeeping, knowledge of trucking or agriculture a plus. Primary duties will be: handling of all aspects of billing- including use of QuickBooks; mileage reports (IRP);fuel reports (IFTA); inventory of soil amendments. Position will also assist with dispatching of trucks - requiring the ability to read maps and give direcetions, answer phones and assit with sales of various soil amendments, as well as general office duties as deemed necessary. In-depth training in our office procedures will be primary objective during first weeks of employment.
Required skills: Proficient in Excel, Word and general computer skills, solid understanding of accounting principles as well as use of ten key adding machine and good customer service/phone presence. Attention to detail a must. Familiar with QuickBooks a plus, but not required.
