Successful professional employer organization seeks an Employee Benefits Administrator to join its team. This key position will assist employees with benefits, maintain employee data base, supplement payroll, manage all insurance billings and maintain employee files. The Benefits Administrator position involves frequent contact with internal staff, employees, clients, and insurance-related vendors and requires a working knowledge of employee benefits and associated policies and activities.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
High School diploma or GED
2 to 4 years' experience in benefits or benefits-related administration
Successful professional experience in a role involving: attention to detail; reconciliation of accounts; entering and maintaining detailed data; customer service & frequent contact with interoffice staff, clients, and public
Solid proficiency in Excel
Proficiency in MSWord
Minimum typing speed of 50wpm
Experience on other applicable databases is helpful
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Strong, proven organizational skills
Effective communication skills: verbal and written
Ability to consistently meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines
Ability to effectively communicate with people in potentially stressful situations
Ability to work independently as well as in a cooperative manner with various departments within the organization

COMPENSATION:
Starting Pay $18-$20/hour (commensurate with experience)
